Oh how i've missed the beats on Boss.......

It is unbelievable. It's a mixture of the retards you get playing there and a poor RNG.I'm on one of those runs that you can't help but laugh. I haven't won a flip in god knows how long. Some one just hit runner runner for the straight flush to be my nut flush on the flop. Just had QQ called AIPF by Q4 that hit quad 4's. Even when you seem to hit the flop on boss you seem to lose! As i'm only playing micro limits i just laugh at it!! There are some really poor players here as well that adds to it.

Away from poker I broke my metatarsal playing football on Sunday so am on crutches and have stupid boot on my right foot. I had scored a 35 yard screamer (shit goalkeeper)earlier but i'll now be out for the rest of the season.

It should be a busy few months anyway. I have a stag do and wedding to go to in Worthing in April and another wedding in May. I'm heading to the german alps in April for the weekend to see the sites and i'm planning to see my sister in spain with this bird i've been seeing in July. I'm also looking at going to le mans this year. Has anyone been? Any advice?

Arsenal

Do arsenal fans really care they didn't win yesterday?

errrr probably not

I don't understand some Arsenal fans point of view however. A few have said (after i laughed at their keeper and defence) that the same back 5 beat Barcelona. That's really not a good argument. Barcelona were poor and will still probably turn Arsenal over at the Nou Camp. It beggers belief that Wenger did not buy a goalkeeper in the summer or adequate back up for vermaelen.

In the same vain I think United could beat any team in the World away in any one game. However we won't do it enough times to win the champions league and we'll be lucky to win the league. We've done well to have home FA cup ties as well...

I don't mind Arsenal. Wilshere is a good player. I really don't think Arsenal will be that annoyed that they lost yesterday, however i can't see them winning anything else this year. Next year i'd be worried if they buy a decent keeper and a couple of centre halfs

Back on Boss and Rome

I'd taken all my money out of accounts and stopped playing then Virgin Poker sent me a free £5 promo through the post. Played a bit and built it up to a tenner and then played a V point free roll. It's actually a pretty good free roll! They give awa 25,000 V points and you can transfer 1 v point for 1p so the tourney has basically a £250 prize pool. It only had 118 runners and i finished 4th for £25. Should have done better apart from losing to runner runner for the straight AQ all in v K10 and then lost 99 to A7.

I then played one 30 manner last night which i binked so i'm sitting there with nearly £50 at them moment. Am only going to play MTT and MTTSNG and see how i do.

Am off to Rome and Venice for a week tomorrow which should be a laugh. Will catch Lazio v Bari at the olympic stadium in rome on sunday which should be good

Knocking a girl out whilst shagging her in the sea

Well as someone asked....

I met this girl when i was in Spain seeing my sister and we were out and shitfaced. We walked down the beach about 4 in the morning and ended up skinny dipping in the sea...

One thing led to another and i ended up shagging her.. I can remember thinking how sensual it was and i was really enjoying it. I was facing towards the beach and she was straddling me facing to sea. Anyway it was all going well and then this rogue fucking tsunami wave seemed to come out of nowhere (i was facing the beach remember) and crashed into us. I got thrown forward headbutting the girl and knocked her out.....

So i just held her up and finished (not really....) and dragged her back to shore where a load of spanish people came running over as they thought she'd drowned only to find us both spark naked and her starting to come round...

Then got dressed back into the clothes i'd just been out in now covered in sand and went back to hers to carry on (remember shitfaced) in a really bad sand getting fucking everywhere including inside the condom type of sex, gave up after realising it was like shagging sand paper and went to walk home.

I then woke up in a bush then next morning with some serious sand knob rot and remembered being laughed at by the spanish people when they came running over..

I then started going to different places so i'd never have to see this bird again and met a really really fit german girl who i couldn't do anything with because it felt like my knob was going to fall off.... must be karma

She then added me on facebook....... Still pending...

Downswing

Had a downswing in the 19 manners. Must have dropped 30 - 40 buy ins. Am doing OK at rush though so roll about $115 and should get $10 or so rakeback tomorrow. It's hands like the one below that keep hitting me at the moment

Move forward or go back??

I've a dilema at the moment...

I used to work for a manufacturer of sign printing equipment and earn OK money. I then had a bit of serious life tilt and had to leave. Am now working for a massive insurance company on about half the money I used to earn however i'm well thought of and hope to progress through the ranks.

I have no the potential to go back and do the same thing as I used to do. The money should be much better than i'm on (but not the same as I used to be on which is understandable after life tilt) with a company car, iphone, laptop etc. The issue is that it'll be me and one other bloke working for this company so there will be no potential career development. The POTENTIAL earnings where I currently work are higher down the line, however maybe 20 people in the centre earn that amount out of 700 so is it somewhere I can earn that amount??

Am really unsure what to do... Do i just go to the money? Neither are jobs that anyone strives to do when they're younger so surely th emoney is important? Or job security.... Am undecided...

Enjoying the game

I'm enjoying poker for the first time in a long time (mainly as am doing OK)

Am playing the 18 manners and keep increasing my ROI and it's now at 40% after about 210 games (small sample size i know)

All i want to do is to keep playing well and keep increasing the number of tables i'm playing and games i play a day. Am going to stick to strick bankroll management as well and see how quickly I can move up.

All i want is to be able to make a few hundred quid a month. This month I am probably going to profit £75 on $1 games playing 10 - 15 a day so hopefully a couple of hundred quid shouldnt be too difficult

Attitude needs work

Played a load of games tonight ($1 - 18 mans on Tilt). the issue i have is that i've always bust in a load of games before i get my first cash. I must have played 16 games tonight at $1.20. I assumed i was running badly until i just checked my account and i've profited by about $8 which is actually a really good ROI

My ROI is currently at 30%. In the next few days i think i'll start throwing in a few $2 games in as well. My poker goals are actually quite small. When i move out and get a proper set up (base unit and a couple of monitors) I plan to try and get up to playing around $4 games. If i can play 50 a night and make 20% ROI then i'd be able to make $40 so £25 a night plus rakeback of $5.40 a night so £3 ish. £28 a night 5 days a week is an extra £500 a month.

the problem is i know what people are like predicting greatness at poker and world domination and it's normally pipe dreams and bollox. All i'm doing at the moment is trying to work on the game and get a few thousand in to try and get an accurate idea of my true ROI and gradually increasing the number of simultaneous games i can play (currently 12 on a laptop screen)

I'm also going to keep my role in. I started with $3 and keep withdrawing so never move up limits. Am going to keep it in there and try and build.

Oh and don't play rush...... grrrrrrrr

Full Tilt 18 Manners

Well been doing OK at poker. I've not been playing much, maybe 6 or 10 eighteen man SNG on Full Tilt. I started with about $5 and have withdrawn around £100 and Now have $33 after a good run of 3 wins out of 6 games tonight.

I think i'm running around 24% ROI (mainly from HUSNG) but only from a small number of games.

I really think i'll do well playing these the 27 and 45 manners but i really need to multi table better. Am on a small laptop and can only cope with 6 or 6 tables at the moment.

Didn't get the promotion at wotk but came close so i believe. I got a lot of good feedback and have been given more responsibilities.... on the same shit wages..

I need a girlfriend

I really need a girlfriend. It was our work Christmas Party on Tuesday (Which made the BBC national news in a completely unrelated story http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-11997844 - That's me in the leather jacket walking in at the start) and I spoke to loads of girls from work but didn't really pick any specific girl so was just walking round to talking to everyone all night. Then at the end of the night am still on my own as I haven't really made a decision on which girl i like the most.... The party was a laugh though and it went well thankfully as i'd organised it. I'd booked a hotel in Norwich as it would be easier to get to work the next day, i got back to the hotel at 0300 and the facking front door to the hotel was locked. I was banging on the door and calling the hotel and ended up getting let in at 4 which was a pisser as i had to be in work at 0830 the next morning...

It's weird, I really don't like being at home at the moment. Normally people want to get to the weekend and don't like working. I'm the opposite, I like being at work and dread the weekends. All i do is sit and play poker and get really bored....

There is a secondment into a management position coming up at work which i think i'll apply for. It's about an extra £3k a year which will come in really really handy and it'll be good moving into management. The only problem is there will probably be around 70 people applying for it so i'll just have to see how it goes.
