Seriously does this happen to everyone else?!?!

2nd tournament 540 entrants 24 left with about 10BB, shove with A10 called by another short stack with KQ and of courde get beat... honestly every fucking time...

I hate my life

I am so bored at the moment. It's difficult not working and i don't know where my future lies. I would love to be able to play poker for a living. I think thats why i get so pissed off with the beats when they hit. I drift from game to game trying to find one that suits and all the while my bankroll is dropping and dropping.

I think i'm going to focus on playing PLO. I'm going to put a few thousand hands in over christmas and see how i get on..

I'm also going to play less over the next week or so before i start hitting the PLO tables and try and learn a bit more.

One thing that concerns me is this: In a previous job i needed to speak to 300 people a day to get a certain amount of sales. After doing it a while i got to the stage where i wasn't doing that and realised i'd gone too far to be able to do it so left. I hope it hasn't got to the stage with my poker that it's so ingrained in me to play the way i do, which blatantly isn't a winning play and that i can improve

I'm really starting to think that i'm just unlucky. I understand about variance etc etc but it seems i win coming from behind in the 1st hand of a rebut tournament when it really doesnt make much difference and get really unlucky when it counts.

I'm not sure how to rectify, please see the below hand histories and say what you would do differently?!? Maybe betting the flop on the AQ v A10 hand but have a look......

Not really played that much poker, I need a break to get my game back together, if i play too much i lose concentration and play bad...

I've realised i need to do the following:

1. Not play AQ
2. Focus on buliding my stack in MTT after the 4th level
3. Not call the blinds with nominal holdings..
4. Only playing premium hands in the first 3 levels.

Take a break

I'm going to stop playing for a little while i think. I'm not enjoying it really at the moment and there is no point playing i don't think when you feel bad.

I seem to be getting dead angry with everything at the moment and i don't know why. I can seem to get motivated by anything and get bored doing whatever i'm doing really quickly. I'll go over to my sisters with my mum and get bored after two minutes and want to be back home and then come back home and have nothing to do here. My mum and sister are in London at the moment so i was at home on my own yesterday and did nothing. I played some poker but didn't enjoy it and keep getting so angry with the other players when they make stupid plays and get lucky. So i end up stressed and i don't know why. My roll is about 330 Euro now which is down from the other week but i still need to remember it all started from 13euros....

I had a few films on yesterday such as eagle eye, disturbia, GI Joe and District 9. They were all good and worth a watch, especially eagle eye

Interview

Well the interview surprisingly went ok. They need to do all the checks and if they come out ok then i'll start on the 4th January. The problem is that i told them everything that will come up on the checks but i doubt they'll hire me due to the bankruptcy.

On the poker front i'm playing so badly at the moment. i lose concentration and make stupid plays..

Am just going to play the 1euro rebuy and the 1000euro 3 euro entry tournament on boss at 7pm and 7.35 and play those till i increase my roll.

I really should start setting some targets. I want to try and win 2 tourneys a month and final table 6 times and try and cash in 40% of tourneys entered..

I really need to start keeping proper records as well..
